    Meet Orangutan at Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

    Discover Kuching with kids Today is our day 2 of “Travel with kids in Kuching”. The first stop is the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre (SWC) to meet the semi-wild orangutans! You might or might not able to see them as they are semi-wild orangutans. So, let’s try our luck! SWC was established in 1975 to rehabilitate wild animals that are found orphaned or injured including those confiscated from the public. They were brought to Semenggoh at a very tender age of between 1 to 5 years old. After their rehabilitation, they will be released back to the wild particularly in Totally Protected Areas.

Thereafter, his family purchased 1 hectare of land in Siburan for their crocodile farm.
