Family Short Trip
This is my second time to Cameron Highland. The first visit post available at “ShawnLiv Short Getaway Cameron Highlands (April 2016)” The second visit as stated on top “Top Family-Friendly Activities in Cameron Highlands Pahang 2018”. Overall, Cameron Highland is amazingly family-friendly and there are plenty of things to do in.

BOH Tea Plantation is a must-visit place when you are in Cameron Highlands Scenic, tranquil & cool fresh air! It was founded in 1929 by J.A. Russel, a British businessman during the British colonial era in Malaya. The Sg Palas Tea Centre is open everyday except Monday Closed, from 9:00am to 4:30pm. To add on, factory tours are provided approximately every 30 minutes. Next, visits BOH TEA SHOP and last but not least to enjoy a nice cup of tea, cakes at BOH Tea Cafe !

Sam Poh Buddhist Temple

Sam Poh Temple built in 1972, it is the 4th largest Buddhist temple in the country. It built on a hill of Brinchang with a good view of Brinchang town.

The lavender garden was established in 2013 with a sea of colorful ever blooming flowers. Visitors are allowed to handpick these fresh flowers, strawberry picking and “lock” your love at Cameron Lavender!

This is a “must visit” to know more about the Malaysian living styles history. The Time Tunnel is billed as “The Local Museum”, the first memorabilia museum in Malaysia. Opened since February 2007, it’s the brainchild of 45-year-old See Kok Shan, an avid collector who believes that all that’s old is gold.

One of the oldest flower nurseries in Cameron Highlands. Stocking and retailing a diverse variety of local and exotic plants, some adaptable to lowland conditions, while others strictly highland in nature. Popular flora products include orchids, ferns, pitcher plants and rhododendrons; exotic species such as Tillandsia (air plants), Venus fly traps, Geraniums and cactus are also available. As a whole, most of the items are for sale, including the miniature cacti as souvenirs.

Overall nice food and the price was reasonable. In short, Yeoh’s Bah Kut Teh started in 1990 as a family run store back in the canteen of Hokkien Association Klang.
