My Northern Road India Trips (Winter retreat) DAY 7 – 9th Dec 2007 8.00 am – Going to Gulmarg by Jeep Gulmarg (or “Flower Meadow”) is a town and a notified area committee in Baramula district in Jammu and Kashmir. The rich verdure with the snow-capped tips provide an ideal ambiance for the skiing and winter sports. The surrounding areas were politically restive during the 1990s uprising in Kashmir, but after a ceasefire between India and Pakistan in 2003, the town is now enjoying a period of relative peace and quiet.

My Northern Road India Trips (Winter retreat) DAY 4 – 6th Dec 2007 8.30am :-, visit Amber Fort Amber Fort is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Amber Fort is usually pronounced as Amer Fort. The construction of the Fort was started in 1592, by Raja Man Singh. Amber Fort located in Amber 11 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. The Meenas were the original builders of Amber, which town they consecrated to Amba, the Mother Goddess, whom they knew as `Gatta Rani’ or `Queen of the Pass’ [ Tod.II.282 ].

Macau & HongKong 1 Sep – 4 Sep 2007 (Day3&4) My Trips to Hong Kong Hong Kong After finished our breakfast at hotel, transfer to Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Pier by the Hotel Bus. It is located in Porto Exterior, Macau Peninsula. We took First Ferry Macau since we decided to go Kowloon first as our first stop. The fare is MOP 280 for 2 persons and departure time is 09.00am. Kowloon refers to an urban area in Hong Kong made up of Kowloon Peninsula and New Kowloon

My Macau and Hong Kong Trip – Day2
Macau & HongKong 1 Sep – 4 Sep 2007 (Day2) Chapel of Our Lady of Penha Chapel of Our Lady of Penha located at the top of Penha Hill, it affords views of the inner harbour, the magnificent Macau-Taipa bridge, and nearby towns in China. Next, Proceed to The Macau Temple of A-Ma. It was built five centuries ago and is considered to be the oldest in Macau. When the Portuguese sailors first landed on the peninsula and asked the name of the place, the natives replied “A-Ma-Gao” (Bay of A-Ma). And so the peninsula was named Macau.
