Let Fear be a catalyst for your growth!
Fear is not your enemy! If you befriend fear, it can be an asset to you. A tremendous amount of energy is associated with fear. You have undoubtedly heard stories of people who showed superhuman strength when they were faced with fear.
In research studies, students who felt some fear about taking a test did better than students who felt no fear. Your goal is not to eliminate fear, but to harness it.
Fear can be transforming or it can constricting. You decide which one it will be for you. If its is to be transforming, you need to identify what you are afraid of your attention on your goal and let go of where you are.
What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly
– Richard Bach, Illusion
To support this transformation you need to focus on what you want – your goal – rather than your fear. Then the goal, rather than your fear, will become your motivator. Use the energy the fear produces to take specific action steps that will bring you closer to your goal.
