  • Bariatric surgery
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Pancreatic insufficiency
  • Naturally thin (BMI of 20 or less)

For people with metabolic disorders ketogenic diets pose more risk than benefit and can cause a great deal of harm. If you’re pregnant or trying to become pregnant, KETO Diet may not be right for you. A high level of ketones in the blood may pose a risk to a developing fetus.
