Wake-up a bit early to take FX Hotel free breakfast. Consequently, go back to sleep again. Few hours later, went to 7-11 to buy something and had this lotus stem coconut nearby the FX hotel (top right pic). Next, went to Sukhumvit meetup with friends.
After meet-up with friend at BTS Sukhumi, we drop off at BTS Siam Station to Siam Paragon.
My friend decided to take his lunch here but most of the restaurants here were packed. At last, we managed to get our sits at Burger King. We order pork burger, which is not available in our country.
Roadside food – On the way to four faced Buddha
After Shopping at Siam Paragon, we decided to go the four faced Buddha at the Erawan Shrine. Without a doubt, it is one of the most popular tourist spots in Bangkok. According to Wikipedia, The Erawan Shrine was built in 1956 as part of the government-owned Erawan Hotel to eliminate the bad karma believed caused by laying the foundations on the wrong date.
The shrine is located at the Ratchaprasong intersection of Ratchadamri Road in Pathum Wan district.
View of the shrine from the Skytrain
Base on the entrance (clockwise direction), The first faced Brahma represents the Peace and Health, followed by the Good Fortune, the Relationships and the Protection Against Evils.
Full of Flowers and incense around the shrine
Usually prayers sprinkle the holy water fountain over their heads and shoulders (right pic).
As a matter of fact, I went there 7 years ago. This is now and 7 Years ago.
However, this four faced Brahma is not same as 2005. On March 2006, a demented man vandalized the shrine and was subsequently killed by bystanders. The replacement was quickly built in May.
Next, we were heading to Central Word Bangkok. Accordingly, it is the third largest shopping complex in the world.
After spent for an hour there, we went to 4D movie theater. The 4D movie theater was quite cool. Basically, we don’t really like shopping. Therefore, we didn’t spend much time here. Anywhere, we back Hotel for some rest and went for dinner at Terminal 21.
Ham and Beef + SingHa Nice; Nice Tomatoes and Chili Holders
After Dinner, meet-up with one Japanese new friend and he bring us to Nana plaza, Bangkok. Nana plaza is on of the famous entertainment places in Bangkok. However, I felt that Nana plaza is quite similar to the Soi cowboy (Agogo Bar).
Overall, the beers are cheap and the girls are hot. For a single night like this, we went for more than 5 bars there. I think I am drunk after all.
